Are you surviving the heat wave?? I'm a hot-weather wimp. When it gets over 80 degrees here in Seattle I die.
If you're sewing along with the Summer Sampler, today my second and last block was released. It's called "Around the Corner" for obvious reasons:
I made mine up there with some Dixie fabric. Here are a few variations with some white space added just for fun! This one is in Desert Bloom...
...and this one is in Hazelwood:
A handful of these blocks would make a great baby quilt.
You can find more info about the Summer Sampler here (and play catch up!). Happy August 1st!!

I haven't made any of the blocks yet. I signed up, but knew I wouldn't be able to do it this summer. So I've been printing out the patterns, and will make it some other time. I love this block, and I've loved the others. It'll be a fun quilt to make! Thank you!

It's been in the 90's here in Idaho most days. We are heading to Oregon and some cooler weather next week! What a fun and versatile block! Love it!

Really clever block. Love how the block changes so much by changing up the fabric.

LOVE this block and its versatility. Any way to get just this pattern? Just not crazy about all the rest.
