Can you tell I live in the woods? Tall trees + a foggy dark week = bad pictures!
I started this little baby quilt after seeing this super cute quilt. It is the Scout pattern…minus the solid strips in between. I made the Crib size version, minus 1 block on each column. I think it ended up being about 36″ x 42″ ?? Give or take a few inches. ;)
The back is one of my favorite fabrics at the moment…the color is a perfect teal.
The Quilter’s Dream booth was across the isle from me at quilt market and left me with some samples. This batting is fabulous. I’m anxious to try the polyester version…I’ve heard great things about it.
It crinkled a lot in the wash. It’s soft and thin enough to use as a wrap-around blanket to give a new baby.
Fabrics are Les Amis by Patty Sloniger for Michael Miller Fabrics bought here. I also added some solids… Bella Snow, Pistachio, and Breeze.
I love the colors for this quilt! I need to check out that quilters dream batting- your quilt did crinkle up quite a bit. It looks so soft and cozy.
fantastic colors, cute quilt ♥
That's so cute, I love the colours!
I just love it. The binding fabric you used is the perfect frame for the quilt !
I love it! That backing is one of my favorite fabrics right now too! :)
Pretty ~ love the shot in the woods!
Very crinkly!!! I love the colors. :)

My favorite batting (line). I adore their Dream Angel and Dream Wool. The poly cotton is quite lovely, but doesn't crinkle as much. Love the colors on your new quilt.
such a pretty quilt. I have been so curious about the dream wool – have you tried it?
Just lovely…
That is the batting I use ALL the time. I love it.
Already repinned! I love finding baby boy quilts-they are so hard to make for and this one is perfect.
Such a great color combo. It's lovely
Just crazy about this quilt! I am craving my sewing machine so much right now! Away for work, so don't have my machine with me. It's torture to see your beautiful quilt and not be able to do one of my own! But thanks for sharing yours :)
Love the quilt. Stilling loving the grey fabric, so thanks for the link. It is on it's way (plus a few others)
So cute! I love the fabric combination and I love the crinkly goodness!
Love this quilt. It's beautiful.
those colors just make me so happy! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I gotta go get me some!
Thanks for linking up to my quilt. Yours is GORGEOUS, I love those colors! Quilter's Dream is my favorite batting, it's pretty much the only thing I use anymore.
This is so beautiful I can't stand it.
Gah!! That is soooo cute! I recently tried the Quilter's Dream batting too and really liked it. My quilt scrunched up lots after washing too.
Those are such pretty colors! Beautiful quilt. =)
Oh love it! Gorgeous colours! And I personally
Love your whimsy forest pictures!
I love the colours, they are so ME! Your photos are terrific, the woods add a charm to them.

Darling Quilt!
I love QD batting! The poly batting is really inexpensive and the nicest poly I've ever seen. It feels good enough to curl up in by itself. It needles like a dream, whether you stitch by hand or with the machine.
The colors for that adorable quilt are perfect and so is the crinkling! Beautiful, beautiful!
Beautiful work. I really love your color/ fabric choices. I also use that batting and love it. Lucky baby to be getting this cute quilt!
I love the colors !
Really loveing this one. Love the colors they all go great together.

Oooh… That is gorgeous!
I'm totally buying that fabric to make my son a quilt with!!! Yay!
Nice! That's a lovely quilt, and I do need me some Les Amis :-) Thanks for the tip.
I absolutely love this quilt!!!!
Photos are fine! There's even sun shining on the folded quilt! It's very cute and I love a thin cotton batting. I find them much easier to quilt myself, much less likely to cause the backing to pucker, and they don't lack any warmth in comparison to wool either.
I really like the colors and how crinkly it looks.
Oh I would love to win this book!!
oh this quilt came out great. i love it. Thanks for sharing
Love, love, love this quilt! That's why I immediately purchased a stack of those fabrics… ehem… I like the design and will probably make something around it. The quilt would fit perfectly into my son's room (my son is 8 1/2 months).
Dido that, Love this quilt. I completely missed the Jan 24 support your local quilt shop day, boo hoo for me. I'll make it up to them for sure, as I am a fabric-a-holic. Wow you have several around you to purchase great stuff. I'll be in Seattle next week and will check some of them out.
Thanks Debbie.
PS: you do awesome work, keep it up girl.
This is so pretty — I love your Scout pattern both ways. It's neat to see the same pattern made up in different fabrics by different quilters.
I've used Quilter's Dream cotton batting in the past, and I love that bumpy, puckered texture you get after it's washed. That will be one stylish, lucky baby getting wrapped in this quilt!
What a beautiful quilt! I'll chime in as another fan of Quilters Dream wadding too – I love their request weight for snuggly crinkly quilts that you can really wrap up in.
This is super cute–and Les Amis is tempting me to break my fabric "diet"…
I love this quilt. The pattern and colors!
