Boys love trinkets. My son calls his trinkets his "fun stuff". So I made him some "fun stuff" bags….because his "fun stuff" is all over the floor.
I used the instructions from this book:

I want that book so bad. Martha drives me crazy at times, but I love the look of her publications! Those look fun- now, if you have magic to get kids to use them, please let me know where you find it!
I love to use these bags as gift bags. It is especially appreciated when the gift you are giving has a lot of small parts. We have some Christmas bags we have been reusing for several years. Also, whenever I make a baby quilt, I roll it up like a jelly roll and present it in a coordinating bag for a great baby gift.
:) I just decided to make some of these last week! I got a new diaper bag and thought it was super genius to make them for the loose toys and snacks I cart around. I love what Tidy Brown Wren said about using them for gift bags. I feel a stash buster coming on!

I have been bags making similar to these for my children for ages. They are great at each stage of their lives. C uses them for Littlest Pet Shop... D - well he is all boy and probably has more of these bags then I care to count...B and K are 15-16 - They use theirs to carry goggles and caps for swim practice, small costume jewelry and sometimes chump change for snacks or running errands after practice...my point is, your little one will enjoy these type bags for a long time so be prepared to make a few. ;0)
I love drawstring bags for all of my daughters' little pieces. Mini princess figurines in one, lace up boards in another. The girls can just grab a bag and have something to keep them busy in the car. I like your fabric choices.
