    Besides laundry…I’m:

    Feb 4, 2013

    * Planning and coloring quilts…it’s too hard to choose! (pencils from Target)
    * Sewing a sweet baby quilt out of this:
    * Smoooooshing these cheeks…after she empties every cupboard and drawer she can reach.
    * Finally posting a picture of this book….I wrote it when that baby up there was just a bean!
    (yay!)
*Making forts….we have no shortage of quilts and blankets:

    * Keeping the super heroes/villains fed and happy:
    IMG_7620-002_thumb[1]
    * Sneaking in a little bit more of this:
…and then…I’ll do some laundry.  Maybe.

Laundry is vastly overrated and definitely less fun than sewing beautiful fabrics and playing with gorgeous children. I'm glad to see mine isn't the only home where quilts are an integral part of fort construction!

Congrats on the book! I can't wait to see the loveliness inside. I love superheros rushing around the house - although we're into jedis now (with mama made jedi robes) - and now our girl is big enough to light sabre fight with them, which is hilarious - she totally beats them up.

I used to have baby latches on all but one drawer.. that was the drawer with the plastic lids, and that was all for the babies. I would prop it open so that it couldn't close on her fingers, and let her/ and him put them in and out all afternoon long.

Ha laundry! Yep, that's on the list, somewhere I'm sure, I'm just ignoring it slightly! Really feeling the itch to be in my HQ sewing away, haven't been able to get a moment alone with my machine in a couple weeks :/ laundry is piling up, babies and toddler sick and sooky!
The color palet for your quilt lifted my sorrowful spirit of woe me! :) now I think I shall start coloring in while holding crying babes aswell as blog reading from my phone! :)

I remember when my boys were little and used to run around the house in costumes. We have those same helmets. Cherish it because one morning they will wake up and they will be "too big" for that. It really does feel like it was overnight.

I don't mind laundry, or we call it washing in Australia! It's the one chore I don't mind though. It's all I can manage to keep up with (well, sort of!)with 3 kids, working 3.5 days a week. So my blog post of a week would kinda look a lot like yours, except without as much sewing unfortunately! your kids are so cute. Squish the cheeks often because when you blink she'll be nearly 4 and starting preschool like my youngest did last week, sniff!
