    A little hand

    May 18, 2009

IMG_8723 Don’t look too close.  I am seriously lacking in the embroidery skills department.  Lets just say I un-intentionally went for a “handmade” look….cough cough.  But despite that this was a fun and fast project that shows off my little man’s hand so I can display it on the wall like a proud mama.  I’m sure he’ll really love it hanging on his wall when he’s 17.  Yep, I’m sure. I’m making my way back to Cleveland today.  Traveling for 9.25 hours (including layover) with my 2 year old.  I’m feeling cranky already.  Luckily he is a great traveler, but it still puts my stomach in knots.  I’m sure you all can relate.  Wish me luck!

      So sweet.

Don't worry, if he's anything like my little ones, he'll fall asleep right as you're landing in your final destination. :)

This is just so sweet! It is so good that you have done this. You will appreciate it even more when he is grown and gone. The frame and the stand are perfect with it.

What a cute idea! Titus never holds still for me to trace his hand...it scares him! He must think I'm going to cut off his little fingers with the crayon...

This is genius! I am borrowing this idea and digitizing an outline of my son's hand and embroidering it on machine. I will respond back once I have it done. Love your blog. I am a mom of 3 and a blogger as well. You are my idol!!! http://www.machineembroiderygeek.com
