Either:
A. I need to cut back on the chewy molasses cookies.
B. I’m 17 weeks pregnant.
C. All of the above.
Definitely C. All of the above.
I’m due March 15th. After a year of trying to get (and stay) pregnant we are more than relieved and excited to finally be at this point. This baby has made me unbelievably sick. Lets just say the toilet and my face have become well acquainted. I’ll find out what I’m having in 3 weeks….and then the sewing frenzy begins. Literally.
WooHoo! Congratulations! Thanks for letting us "follow along"
Congratulations! That is so exciting! Hopefully soon you will be feeling better!
Wow congrats!!! I was soooo sick with baby #2. It started at around 4pm and lasted until I fell asleep. It was AWFUL, I lost 17 pounds, but made up for it later. Hope you'll be feeling better soon, try ginger candy. And crusty bread helped too!
Wonderful news! Congratulations!
And now you have me craving chewy molasses cookies.
congratulations! Hope you feel better soon. I was sick a lot too. And those molasses cookies sound great! send some over!

And, man, that rubberband trick got me a long way into my pregnancy!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I wish I had the same excuse for wearing my jeans that way!
Oh, congratulations!!
Many, MANY congratulations!!
Let the baby sewing projects commence!
so exciting! we have a march boy in this house. . . while pregnant with his baby sister, he watched me get sick in the sink while brushing my teeth–"That's crazy Mama" is what came out of his two-year-old mouth. True, true, true:)
congrats!!!! love the smell of a new baby :)
HUGE congratulations! I'm so envious! I would love to have another baby but know that it won't be happening as we couldn't afford a fourth mentally, emotionally, financially, logistically etc etc etc and the age gap would be too big for comfort – doesn't stop me from being broody though especially as my youngest has just gone up to Junior School (age 7).
Nevermind – I'm going to buy a baby bunny instead!!!!

congratulations…what a wonderful thing! it's all worth it…even the toilet ;-)
Congratulations!!! I hope the sick feeling goes away soon!
Congrats! =) Hopefully the sickness will pass soon. =) *hugs*
Congratulations, we re-act to each baby differently, but they're all worth it.
A huge congratulations! I look forward to seeing all the baby sewing. :)
Congratulations! How exciting!! Hopefully you'll start feeling better soon – can't wait to see all the little items you sew up!
Fantastic! Can't wait to see what you sew up. Sewing gave me motion sickness when I was prego with #2 – glad you don't have that!! Congratulations!
Congratulations! I remember morning sickness well… Although, I could never understand why they call it morning sickness since I was sick 24 hours a day. In fact, for the first six months, hot chocolate was just about the only thing I could keep down. lol
Congrats. Have another cookie for the baby and it helps to stave off the nausea!
Oh yea! What a wonderful gift. I'm one of those moms everyone despises. . .5 kids, 4 pregnancies, no morning sickness! Take care of yourself! Congratulations!
Congrats to you! I cannot wait to follow along and especially to enjoy the sewing creations to come!
Congrats!! I am just about 2 weeks behind you!
Add a little ginger to those cookies…ginger snaps are the only thing that have kept me from being sick on the way to work on the bus every morning.
Congrats Allison! The babe makes all of it – ALL of it – worth it:) But, I think you know that. Enjoy your time to sew while you can!!
She's right, ginger is a good natural fix…worth a try.
CONGRATS, CONGRATS, CONGRATS!!!
Aw congrats!Hope you feel better soon:)
What a beautiful (and lucky!) baby! Congratulations to one and all!
Congratulations!
Allow me one bit of free advice?
Here goes: garbage disposal… I learned that it's an easier height and angle and less humiliating than sticking my face in the toilet.
Speaking from 5 pregnancies of experience.
What a blessing to participate in a miracle. Congrats!
Yeah! Congratulations!! Can't wait to see what you've got cookin' in there. So funny about the rubber band on the jeans. I did the same thing! Jenn
Congratulations! How exciting. My daughter was born March 28, it's a great time of year to have a baby. Nothing like a spring baby, in my opinion!
Congratulations! I too was sick as all get out throughout all three of my pregnancies, but in the end I had gorgeous healthy babies and all of that porcelain god worshipping was worth it! It should ease up some soon too!
Oh Yeah!! Congrats!!
Oh how wonderful!

Good for you – sending well wishes your way!
Yippee! Sending cybersaltines your way.
congratulations! I was sooooo sick for 6 months during both my pregnancies but it was all so worth it. (my DH got snipped right after the second was born because HE couldn't go through another pregnancy)
Congratulations!!!!!
I found that taking a good probiotic – fairly often – got me feeling almost human when I was sooo sick with my last baby.
I like the NSI 10/20 probiotic from Vitacost.com
I also found that my (all day long – worse in the evening) morning sickness didn't last as long as it had in my previous pregnancies, either. Definitely worth a try!!
YAY!!!
God Bless you! That sure is a pretty baby! I understand the anxiety and anticipation you go through when you have had loss! I will pray for you and your baby. I know the sickness you have had is yucky, but it sure is a good sign! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful secret with your fellow bloggers!
Congratulations!!!! Aww, he has your squiggly black lines. :-)
Congratulations – there's nothing like the joy that a baby brings, especially when you've gone through the ups & downs of trying to have a child. I hope all goes well.

Congrats on such happy news. It'll be fun to see what beautiful things you make for the baby!
Congrats! But, be forewarned. I was sick the whole time – and I mean I threw up multiple times every day right up to (and including) the time they were wheeling me into delivery! But, I'd like to say that the sicker you are, the sweeter your baby!
Congratulations!! I love your blog, it is a fave of mine, and I'll be excited to see what you create for the new little one. (I hope its a girl, just because I have a girl and it has been so fun!)

Hope you feel better soon. Ginger crackers work…keep some on the bedside table and munch on before sitting up in the morning.
Check out Purl Bee…Molly's Sketchbook has a baby boy quilt that works for girls too. It's teal and orange with white. So very cute w/o being cutesy.

How exciting!! I had a much more close, personal relationship with the toilet than my husband with my two pregnancies. Hope all the yuckiness doesn't last too long!
Love that pic! I barely made it to 10 weeks doing that just the 2nd time around.
Congratulations!
Wowweeeee! Congratulations!
Congratulations! I'm so happy for you. BTW, that trick on the pants closure is good whether you're pregnant or not. VBG

Allison, congratulations to you and your family! Very exciting…hope you are feeling better soon. Try the mini-saltine crackers and baked potatoes. A sure cure for those old cream stick cravings, huh…

Congratulations to you and Mr. Cluck Cluck Sew… I will give you one tip from a fellow puker ("Morning" sickness my butt!)
** baby carrots are the only food in the world that don't taste disgusting after brushing your teeth for the three millionth time each day**
and I used Emetrol, a natural phosphate to help with the nausea, available behind the counter (but not by prescription) at any pharmacy.
I'm soooo behind in my blog reading…so I'm sooo late congratulating you both!! How exciting!!
