    Here we go again….

    Nov 7, 2009

First off, Rene’ who was lucky number #74 and has a lovely blog, is my lucky scraps /blocks winner.  All I can say Rene’ is good luck. Second, I found out I’m having a…. IMG_1328 BOY!!  This will be our second little boy.  We knew it was a boy before the ultrasound tech even mentioned it  when we saw him form his little hand into a gun…..yep…totally boy. IMG_1330 Luckily I have a good stash of my favorite discontinued boy fabrics by American Jane.  I want to make a quilt that somewhat matches the quilt I made for Ben.   That way if they share a room they’ll match, and heaven forbid they don’t match {insert husband eye roll here}.

Congrats on the boy! I sometimes call that a high five to my patients (I'm a self-employed US tech). Also, on many occasions, the boy bambinos are trying to pick their nose or scratch (something). It's just too obvious sometimes, ya know. xo, suzy

Nothing in the world as sweet at a little boy. As I told my son and his wife when they found out the second one was a boy, maybe the next one will be a girl!! It worked that way for me.

Congratulations on your wonderful news!!!! Boys are so much fun!!! I have two boys (now 21 and 17) and a daughter (10). Love the fabric for the boy quilt.

THANK YOU for the scraps/blocks fabric. I was so excited when I checked my email this morning (still have laptop issues - got my new one yesterday and have been transferring files...STILL). I hope to do them justice.

Enjoy your weekend, and again THANKS.

Congratulations... I have two boys, too! I am sure I would be broke buying pink fabrics to sew skirts if I had a girl...boys are so easy jeans or khakis and solid shirt. Soon enough you will find yourself immersed in the world of legos, trains and star wars!

Congratulations! How perfect! Your new little baby will be born with a best friend just waiting for him! Among my other kids, I have two boys close together in age, and I love it. They fight, they wrestle, they race, and they worship each other. It's too fun.

Hey after looking at Ben's quilt I have a suggestion for you. Have you been to Bonnie Hunters site quiltville.com...I am sure you have...Anyway you might want to consider her crayon box quilt.
We did that one for our last grandson, it is way cute and goes together speedy fast!
