If I were having a girl I would keep totally keep this one. I love the backing fabric, its been in my stash for awhile and I’m not even sure who makes it, but it goes with the front perfectly. I love the squares on the front and the big dots on the back. I did some grid quilting on this one, I always love the end result. The binding is flea market fancy. This one is in the shop.
Blue Is Bleu
The back is lovely! I wish you knew who made it... I want it hehe
Very cute! It looks like a Michael Miller Disco Dot print, but in a color they no longer make.
I know that backing! I have used it for a dress for my daughter. They have it, along with a few coordinating prints, at Hobby Lobby!
i love it
I love it! So fresh and cheerful.
Adorable! I love the backing fabric...dots are my favorite. :)
That quilt is soooo pretty! Love the colors.
Great choice with your backing. Those polka dots are great. Quick question - when you are buying fabric for your stash, how much do you usually grab?
gorgeous! Perfect for a little girl!
That is so cute!
What fun prints. I think it looks great! :)
Very cute! Im glad Melissa asked, I'm curious too, how much do you buy when stocking up your stash?
i love the backing too! :) i think i would have to have that quilt if i had a girl in this house other than me. ;) beautiful.
Sew love the stripe fabric on this and the way you used it in the whole quilt!
This quilt is some serious cuteness! Great work!
True Blue Nana
Great quilt. I like the way you angled the stripes the same way. This once again proves you can take a simple quilt pattern and make a fantastic quilt.
a little bit biased
That is absolutely darling. I love it so much! The colors and backing are perfectly cute. Sorry you won't be keeping it, but if it helps - the fabric you have for your baby on the way will turn out so cute too. Love those fabrics just as well. Can't wait to see what you put together with them.
P.S. Love your blog. Thanks for sharing all of your beautiful quilts! It's part of my daily dose of quilting inspiration :)!
Gorgeous! I love the chair and the way you have photographed it too!
Looks great! Perfect for a girl.
Beautiful quilt! I use that backing fabric a lot...it's by the Brother Sister Design Studio and you can buy it at Hobby Lobby. :)

O.k., I may be way behind because since I've had the baby I haven't been on much lately- did you find out you were having a boy??? :)
Amazing. Love the colors.
I love it! So fun and happy!
Oh my goodness it's so fun!! There aren't any girls in my house other than the mom but oh I so want to run out and buy that fabric anyway!! The polka dots are just fabulous!
The Britton Family
I love it! Oh, and I was always told to buy 3 yrds when buying for your stash. I don't know if that's still the norm or what, though. If it's something I'd use for backing, though, I always get 6 yrds. I'd love to hear what others do!
the quilt is lovely! i also adore your photos!!! so nice. :)
Lovely! Great combination of fabrics - it's very uplifting.
This is one of the best charm quilts I've come across. 1. It isn't all from the same line. 2. You have such interesting texture through the mix of dots, stripes, and scale. Brava.
so gorgeous!!! i love the backing fabric
super cute! we just found out (yesterday) that we're having a girl :)
Love this quilt! You've given me an idea for a charm quilt I had in mind for my DD. Thanks for sharing :-)
