Something Sewn

I’ve been sewing…in between snuggling this little guy who is quite possibly the best baby EVER:
That’s me for you curious minds out there.  Also you guys way over-estimated my painting skills with the buffet….I really can’t take credit for it since my hubby did it all.   I find that bribery works equally well for 3 year olds and 29 year olds.   Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

So there is hope out there for those of us with newborns! I actually need to do some "necessity" sewing of diapers and wipes!

BTW – your newborn looks a lot like my newborn ;) At least in the face. It's uncanny!

The buffet is fab.. but where's that flat screen tv you told hubby would be on top ;o)

What a sweet time you're having with your beautiful baby. I'm loving the photos and posts :)

Both your creations are extraordinary! When the quilt came into view, I thought, "Wow! Simple and yet really unusual because of color and design choices." Then that little man's pic came up. You are one lucky lady. I am so impressed with your ability to balance your life. I know it isn't easy, but you make it look as if it is.

Seeing pictures of your sweet baby brings back memories of my own when they were that age. I have to admit, I often felt overwhelmed and didn't manage to get any sewing in until they were much older.

  40. Christina March 28, 2010 at 5:36 pm #

Love the quilt! And the baby! He is seriously cute!

That is a truly lovely photo with your baby. I wish I had a pretty, artful pic of me with my kids…sigh, they're all pre-teen now and getting them in a photo with their *gasp* parents is near impossible!

    The quilt is fantastic!
