I’ve been sewing…in between snuggling this little guy who is quite possibly the best baby EVER:
That’s me for you curious minds out there. Also you guys way over-estimated my painting skills with the buffet….I really can’t take credit for it since my hubby did it all. I find that bribery works equally well for 3 year olds and 29 year olds. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
both the quilt and baby are adorable!
Cute quilt top! The aqua really makes the squares pop :)
And what a beautiful little boy! So tiny!
Ditto on the cutie-pie and the beautiful quilt!
(those toes are soooooo cute)
Will you give that precious fellow a squeeze for me?
you're amazing! my son is 3 months old and I'm barely making it into the shower each day. That picture is very sweet, and the quilt is great.
Love the quilt top and the new baby is so gorgeous!
oh geez…he's so cute! oh…and the quilt is awesome too :)
Awwww, he is gorgeous! Cute toes and those kissing cheeks, those are the best I have seen in awhile! Enjoy him, they grow up so fast….
I love your quilt, love your quilt! Thanks for sharing it! And I had to laugh at the bribery thing…yep bribery works and any of its forms!
Happy Spring!
What a cute quilt, and an even cuter baby! I'm impressed that you found time to sew with a newborn!
He is an adorable baby!
The quilt is beautiful too but he steals the show ;)
Dang…seeing you snuggle that little guy is SO fun. My little one is climbing on the kitchen counter these days. I LOVE that quilt design. I'll have to study it for future use!
Love, Love the quilt! (and the baby too, so darling). Where did you get the fun "boy" fabric–fish, dogs, helicopters, and monkeys!?
What a sweetie!!
I am in LLOOVVEE with that quilt!! Can we have a tutorial?? Pretty pleeeease??? (As if you have time to do a tutorial!!)
beautiful quilt and even more beautiful baby
How you're able to put the baby down to sew is beyond me! He's gorgeous!!! The quilt top's gorgeous too :)
So there is hope out there for those of us with newborns! I actually need to do some "necessity" sewing of diapers and wipes!
BTW – your newborn looks a lot like my newborn ;) At least in the face. It's uncanny!
What a sweet little peanut!
And gorgeous, gorgeous quilt top. The blue is really great. Love that design. Just did something similar for a quilt block. Must be something in the air! :-)
Sweet baby rolls!
I LOVE that block design. I might have to file that away for a future quilt!
Oh my gosh I LOVE that quilt design!!
How sweet!
Your little guy is SO sweet! I never could do anything extra when I had babies. Brushing my teeth was a luxury. You are incredible!
oh – I keep dreaming of babies :-) but we have 4 and are done…he is so cute!! And that quilt is gorgeous – love the design!
Double delicious!!

The buffet is fab.. but where's that flat screen tv you told hubby would be on top ;o)
What a sweet time you're having with your beautiful baby. I'm loving the photos and posts :)
Both your creations are extraordinary! When the quilt came into view, I thought, "Wow! Simple and yet really unusual because of color and design choices." Then that little man's pic came up. You are one lucky lady. I am so impressed with your ability to balance your life. I know it isn't easy, but you make it look as if it is.
Love the quilt top pattern and colors!
Great job on both accounts!
Great job on both accounts!
Your little guy is so adorable. You are such a lucky momma to have a great baby. Beautiful quilt as well.
What a cutie-patootie baby boy! Great job on the quilt, too.
How sweet {makes me think about having another}. I'm thrilled to have both a new grandson and great nephew this spring.

My first thought was that the quilt is just beautiful. And then I saw the cuddly cute baby!
What a beautiful baby! And the quilt is just too cute! Happy sewing AND snuggling!!
He is perfect! Congrats on being able to get some fantastic sewing done, too… love the setting. Very unusual, and the aqua rocks.
Seeing pictures of your sweet baby brings back memories of my own when they were that age. I have to admit, I often felt overwhelmed and didn't manage to get any sewing in until they were much older.
Love the quilt! And the baby! He is seriously cute!
What a sweet little baby! Oh I miss those days, our youngest is 8 yrs old! The quilt is darling, love the colors!
That is a truly lovely photo with your baby. I wish I had a pretty, artful pic of me with my kids…sigh, they're all pre-teen now and getting them in a photo with their *gasp* parents is near impossible!
The quilt is fantastic!
you quilt and your baby are wonderful.
do you think that you will make this quilt a tutorial?? or a pattern for your shop??
I think it would make a darling I spy quilt for my little guy.
thanks julie
