    Dresdens

    Dec 22, 2010

IMG_7179 I love dresden plates.  Miniature dresden plates?  Even better.  I think these measure about 6 ½” across.  Last year I made these Christmas pillows using dresden plates that I meant to make more of this year.  Guess it will have to wait seeing as how Christmas is 3 days away!!! Will be making my first Dresden's next week. I love circles, so I'm hoping I like it.

I have never made a dresden plate but it's on my list for 2011. CUTE pillow. And the pillow on your mantle--adorable! Did you make it?

I'm also curious about that pillow on the mantle. Can we get a close-up shot of that?

I was one of the lucky ducks that bought one of your dresden plate christmas pillows last year...It sits on our arm chair and makes me very happy.

Those dresdens are so cute. Love the minis. I'll have to try those sometime. Your colors are great too. And, everytime I make dresdens I love the little string of wedges (like what you have in the first photo.) It's like a little "banner". Fun photo.

I have recently learned to do Dresden Plate and love the technique. I tried a few different ways and can confidently recommend using the Easy Dresden Plate ruler by EZ Quilting. I like the fact you can make any size you like with the one ruler.

I LOVE your dresdans (was that too personal)...

I was wonderig which ruler you are using?

Your fabric choices are beautiful and the top stiticky on each dresday just frames them so perfectly.
