    Friday Randomness

    May 8, 2015

I forgot how much I love making dresden plates!  I use this ruler to make them and it works like a charm.  I have plans for this one made out of Hazel…I’ll show you when I finish!

My block made it into this months issue of Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks and my name is on the cover….so fun!  I sent one to my Grandma.  :)

My May bundle from Westwood Acres arrived last week!  This one was chosen by Nicole and it’s lovely.  I can’t wait to make something with this color scheme.

My collection of fat quarters is growing.  I need to start using them but they look so pretty on my shelves all folded neatly it’s hard to mess them up.

We are supposed to have almost 80 degree weather here in Seattle this weekend…perfect for doing this alllllll day long:

    Strike one!!!

Baseball season is kicking my rear.  They love it… but man do I need a break from baseball, washing uniforms, and concession stand nachos.  Happy weekend and Happy Mothers Day!

We are doing that same thing with the softball. Luckily, it is just 1, but with 2 games a week and 2 practices a week it makes for a busy week. Gotta love Spring ;)

Congratulations! I bought the magazine today and will look for your block. It is so nice to fine my 'friends' in there. A piece of home along with a special block to make :)!

So much pretty fabric. And I feel like I've said this before, but I love your Hazel fabric. I smile every time I see it. I hope I get to buy some when it is available!

Been there done that as a Grammy. A huge part still would love to be doing it and a tiny part is relieved. Enjoy it while you can, b/c it goes really fast and then they are in college.
