Lovestruck Heart Block (free!) Pattern

I don’t think a year has gone by without me making some sort of heart quilt, so I definitely couldn’t let this year be the first.

I knew I wouldn’t have time to make a whole quilt, but this cute twist on my original heart block pattern was a fun challenge…and actually pretty quick to sew!

With the top and bottom border it finishes at 17″ x 17″, and you could leave the borders off and it would be 10″ x 17″.  It would make a cute quilt with a handful together, or even a cute pillow cover.  Or you can quilt it up and hang it on your wall and call it your only Valentines Day decor like I did.

I already have so many heart projects in my tutorials and patterns.  The most used on my blog is of course the basic Heart Block Pattern, and there is also the Simple Heart Quilt below.

This I Heart You mini quilt is a perfect rainy day project.

And of course my Box of Hearts quilt that looks like a box of conversation hearts!

Thank you for another cute heart pattern. I also remember you putting hearts on your book/pocket pillow because I made those some of those pillows a couple of years ago. I loved how they turned out. Thank you for your generosity.

I printed out the simple hearts pattern last year for a SAL with Sharon Holland. This month I am trying to finish the quilt by the 14th! I think I’ll make it. I like the heart with the arrow too.

Thank you so much for your pattern. I never say anything because English is not my first language, but I’m following your site for years, it’s one of my favorites. I love your creativity and sense of color. Many thanks for your work, when I see your colourful quilts they make my soul happy!

I really like your emails and your blog. I also am very appreciative of your freepatterns, tutorials that enable all of us become quilters or hopefully better quilters. I am a beginner/ but have started at an older age with no one in my family that are sewers or quilters. Plus I am left handed which throws another wrinkle in it but I love creating for other people.
Thank you for all you do and for sharing all of your talents and expertise.
