I think my MOST requested pattern to date has to be a Mini Brightly quilt. I just couldn't figure out how to write it since I have a few other variations for other holidays. I didn't want to make multiple patterns, so I crammed them all into one booklet.
The booklet includes a Mini Brightly, Mini Evergreen, Mini Pumpkin Patches, and Mini Heartsy. Each of the quilts measures 30" x 36, so a perfect wall hanging or even the cutest little newborn quilt. All of them can be made with 5" charm squares (yay!!!), fat eighths, or scraps. These are perfect little quilts for scraps!
These little 6" blocks are cuuuuute and so fun to sew! Kait quilted this in a modern loops design.
This Mini Brightly quilt is hanging in my sewing room, but I thought it would be fun to switch them out each season/holiday.
Since it's Thanksgiving week it feels like I should share the Mini Pumpkin Patches version too...I used scraps for it in fall colors and some blues.
Can you find my mistake in my large Pumpkin Patches up there? It was one I didn't notice until after it was quilted...ha! I'm just pretending it's intentional.
I love little blocks like this because they are so quick to chain piece. With small blocks and little pieces, they actually go together really quickly (also because someone will ask...I use horizontal pieces of Diagonal Seam Tape to cover any ridges on my machine plate when I'm chain piecing to prevent my seams from flipping as I sew...does that make sense at all?!).
This one I loosely straight line quilted...it's been at least 2 years since I've pulled out my walking foot! The background fabric is Essex Linen in flax.
I'll share the other two mini quilts another time since this post is already way too long and I can't stop sharing pictures. You get the gist...I loved making these mini quilts and I hope you will too!
The entire shop is 25% off through the 26th, and all paper patterns and seam tape will ship on the 27th. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and thank you for being here and for your encouragement and support throughout the year. I still love what I do thanks to all of you!
